“When God wants a great work done in the world or a great wrong righted, he goes about it in a very unusual way. He doesn’t stir up his earthquakes or send forth his thunderbolts. Instead, he has a helpless baby born, perhaps in a simple home and of some obscure mother. And then God puts the idea into the mother’s heart, and she puts it into the baby’s mind. And then God waits. The greatest forces in the world are not the earthquakes and the thunderbolts. The greatest forces in the world are babies.” ~ET Sullivan

A day in the life

Typical activities for each child. Samuel is sleeping and Leah is playing. In the first pic of Leah, she is drinking pretend medicine (water) from a medicine cup, and saying "Strawberry, mmm. Lime Cordial, delicious!" Isn't she beautiful?

In the umbrella picture, she's sitting in a box watching Winnie the Pooh float up to the Honey tree with a balloon. "Tut, Tut. It looks like rain!"

And yes, this is a picture of both children asleep at the same time. A blissful moment. Unfortunately, it didn't last for very long.

You're not supposed to take pictures of both children sleeping at the same time. You're supposed to sleep when they do! (I know; that's a big dream!)
