“When God wants a great work done in the world or a great wrong righted, he goes about it in a very unusual way. He doesn’t stir up his earthquakes or send forth his thunderbolts. Instead, he has a helpless baby born, perhaps in a simple home and of some obscure mother. And then God puts the idea into the mother’s heart, and she puts it into the baby’s mind. And then God waits. The greatest forces in the world are not the earthquakes and the thunderbolts. The greatest forces in the world are babies.” ~ET Sullivan

Fun times for Leah

Here are a few photo highlights from the past few weeks. Leah had the opporunity to ride on a horse! There are two horses that currently live in the field behind our house, and we can always see them from the kitchen table. We decided to trek out to feed them some oats and apples, and they were docile enough to pet and ride. What a treat for Miss Leah! She really enjoyed riding the horse.

Here are a few pictures of Leah playing with the little girl across the street. These two have a love-hate relationship. They will hug one second, and then push each other away the next. They get along great until they both want to play with the same thing, and then they fight like cats! I guess that's just how it goes when you're this age.

I seem to remember girl friends being fickle like when I was 12... and when I was 16... oh wait, girls are always like that!
