“When God wants a great work done in the world or a great wrong righted, he goes about it in a very unusual way. He doesn’t stir up his earthquakes or send forth his thunderbolts. Instead, he has a helpless baby born, perhaps in a simple home and of some obscure mother. And then God puts the idea into the mother’s heart, and she puts it into the baby’s mind. And then God waits. The greatest forces in the world are not the earthquakes and the thunderbolts. The greatest forces in the world are babies.” ~ET Sullivan

Snow Day!

Alright, I realize that every day for the past month has been a snow day, but we've finally come to our senses and taken Leah out to actually play in the snow, thanks to Lola for sending snow pants! (Actually, I stayed warm inside with the baby and watched from the window)

Check out the video. As you can tell, she "moon walked" in the snow boots at first, but progressively got used to them. She looks like she's having fun, doesn't she?

Great moments. I was trying to figure out what she was singing under her breath. And forget about buying any more new toys--Leah likes sticks best of all!
